DownloadThe Equine Welfare Network's Assistance Program will serve as a resource for owners who need short term help feeding or caring for their horses or livestock due to a temporary period of financial insecurity, family crises or death of a caregiver. Depending on the need, the recipient may receive assistance with the purchase of feed and/or hay. The Equine Welfare Network's Assistance Program may also offer assistance with farrier, veterinary or euthanasia-end of life costs. Payments for these services will be sent directly to the vendor.
An application may be downloaded by clicking on the Assistance Application tab above. Once the application has been completed, you may submit your application in one of three ways:
● scan the completed document and email to ckanner@att.net
● take a photo of the completed pages and text them to 772.559.4094
● mail the completed document to:

Once reviewed, a representative will contact you for additional information. The representative will visit the location where the horses or livestock are being kept and will speak with references such as your veterinarian and farrier. Assistance will be awarded on a case by case basis and will focus on animal owners with a track record of responsible care.
